Steamer commented on Vandal caught on camera

If identified and found guilty, she should have to completely destroy a most prized possession and then leave the remains in public view for all to see.

I don't think Burlington High School was ever the Burlington Bearcats. Wildcats yes, Bearcats no.

NWMSU, Northwest Missouri State University are the Bearcats.

I would be rather curious to the number of local Vietnam veterans who attended this event. I am an American Legion member although not of this post and a Vietnam veteran although not of this county. I was a Navy boiler technician aboard a naval destroyer having served from 1969-1975.

This is so tragic to hear. I have connections with Nodaway county, Missouri and Northwest Missouri State University and Maryville. Condolences to the McCoy family.

Steamer commented on Honor Flight worthwhile

There were three veterans from Cottonwood Falls that were on that Honor Flight trip to Washington, D.C. with Mr. Allemang. Indeed, it was a wonderful experience and the people from USD #245 are to be highly commended for what they do in honoring the veterans.

We won't darken Hobby Lobby's doorway either.

Chase County attributed 31.06 tons in 2014 and 32.6 tons in 2015 while Marion and Morris each attributed 350. Chase County figures could easily reach 100 or more if its patrons were so lazy.

Steamer commented on Huelskamp must stay

Thank You sarelon and Arborcat. At least you've got it right! Congressman Huelskamp's full afterburner fly-in to Wichita to get to the bottom of the VA problem was a real spectacle.
Isn't it amazing how fast the current Republican majority in the U.S. House and Senate have easily forgo…

I think we all saw how well the "trickle down" theory worked during the Reagan administration. Didn't we?
