Is the city going to reduce it's mill levy since it no longer has to pay for these repairs?

Rejecting federal money
Why is it so bad to only spend what you bring in? These are all our tax dollars - spend as few as you have to is what I say.

This is only KTKA's side of the story.
Why should KTKA get any money from dish? If KTKA is going to do away with commercials then fine charge. This iis a free signal that KTKA is all ready getting paid for.

Finally a decent home improvement store is coming to emporia. They will certainly have all my business.
And I look forward to the Chilie's/Redlobster type of resturants that a Lowes attacts.

Retired Emporia physicians comment on hospital, past and present
I have never had a problem with most of the doctors of Emporia. The hospital is another story. You recieve much better service from Burlington, Topeka, Wichita, or Kansas City then in Emporia.
