Thank you Mrs. Borst. I was a student of yours in 2003 and enjoyed your class very much. Good luck to you.

How about fireworks??? Where is that in the budget? The city that founded Veteran's Day, can't celebrate the country's independence!! How do you think the Veteran's would feel about that?

I called and left 3 messages with the fair board several months ago about renting, and no call was ever returned. I also work with someone who left several messages and their call was not returned either. There is limited renting options in this town, and it was very disappointing for no one to even return my calls. How hard would it have been to call back and say that they are limiting their rental at this time, or currently changing renting rules.

I found a website that has pictures of braille flags.
http://www.kbti.org/flags.html
The article got my curiousity going and I had to see them for myself. I think they look pretty cool. If you double click on the flags the will pop up enlarged and you can see the braille on them.

Why relocation? Why isn't Tyson giving workers the opportunity for education, training, and earning job skills to fill another niche right here in Emporia? Maybe all these people don't want to move, they are invested in this community, let's keep them here. Diddie and Modine gave employees educational choices.

I have had the chance to personally work with Courtney a few years ago while being involved in ASG, and she definately deserves this award and recognition. Congratulations Courtney, and keep up the good work!

I agree with HometownGirl, 1% is a slap in the face. Let's put this in prespective, if one made $10 and recieved a 1% raise they would make a whole $4 more a week, that would just be taken for taxes.
