America wanted change, now they must hang on for the roller coaster ride of a life time.
I am not convinced that the new leadership will be to the American benefit.
Have we yet seen a birth certificate of this man? Has he yet to prove the relationship with Ayers?
I just say, there is more than meets the eye.

I am glad to read that most Emporians are happy with the election out come of a new president.
I think the next four years will see a change, but I am not sure for the better. After all, you must remember, the small town in Kansas already thinks their city government is so wonderful, I doubt they will be able to tell the difference in a federal government change.
I have a problem with those who hear what is being said, but do not SEE what is being said.

Barbara, if change is what you want, then hang on.You think laws were passed by corrupt republicans, just wait till you see what happens in the future.
It might be wise if we get passports, just in case we need to leave.

Crack, I think what Melissa is saying is that if a vet wants to light up, so be it. They have earned the right. They should be allowed to go to a bar or even the VFW and have a drink and a smoke if they so choose.
I do believe it is the right of the owner of the establishments to make a decision for their business.
If you stop and read back on the smoking, most of the people that are for the ban do not frequent the places mentioned, yet they want the right to tell others what and what not to do for their benefit.
It is an individual right to choose what establishment they want to go into. I have yet to see any one dragged somewhere they did not want to go.
As with the election last night, people have the right to decide for their own self what is right or wrong for them. Those choices are theirs to make. Be it wrong, then they pay the price, not you.
Just like raising children, you can teach them right from wrong, but after a certain point in their life, the decision is theirs to make.
As an adult, you should be able to make a decision if that is a place you want to go, and if it is then, you must not complain about what goes on, because you supposedly used your brain on what was right for you!

Very good comments. I do hope the people who are undecided take this article to heart.
The hint of an antichrist is seen in Obama.
Great nations will fall (the financial chaos that is seen and heard around the world.)
Natural disasters.(what is yet to come?)
I fear of what may happen in the near future if this man is elected.
I have yet to see his tax plan explained as to how it will actually work. Also, how his medical plan will benefit all.
Mr. Moseby I believe your article is one of the best I have read and had explained for all aspects.
I hope more people will read and listen about the man that has had no military experience and might be our commander and chief when he has shown our troops over seas no respect and seems to even have a disdain for them.

Good one methusla. Why can not those people just choose to stay away from what they do not like or approve?
I have a mind and hopefully enough common sense to know what is right or wrong for me. But maybe my rights and wrongs may not be for you, that is why the smart person would use their own mind to figure out for themself. I think most adults are capable of making a choice. Of course, I have said that over half the US is just plain stupid.
In other words, why do we need anybody to tell those of us who are capable of thinking, what to do, where to go, and how to use it? LOL

Why not just use common sense! If you do not like smoking or what ever else, then "simple" stay away. You know, you do have a choice. Do not talk about good food and smoking at the same place. If you do not like the smoke you should not have been there in the first place.
Now, for taking your kids, I would hope that you would have good judgement of your own and not have to have someone else make the decision for you. I have yet to see any one in handcuffs being dragged into a smoking place just because they do not like SHS. Being a parent also means sacrafice.
I suppose you all are the same ones that do not like smoke but let your kid eat the massive junk food available.
To me this is all kind of a double edged sword and we were given brains to figure out what is or isn't good for us. In other words we have the right to choose without others butting into our business.
If you ban smoking in vehicles, will it also help with drunk drivers? Seems that has been around for a long time. Besides, a lot more people have been killed because of drunk drivers than smoking drivers. It seems to me that would be more of a concern.

Well said and good for you photo. It is really weird that you have to tell someone to stay away if they do not like something. You would think people would just use their common sense.

Frulu, that is about as ridiculous as every one not by gasoline on a certain day! I still say if you do not like something, stay away from it. Why must you all worry and fret about what every body else is doing. Do not try to make others believe as you do. That is why we are America. THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE.
Besides, since most places do not allow smoking inside, why don't you just stay inside. Problem solved.

As I see it, it would make more sense to bail out the auto industry than the banks. There a fewer people involved in the banks than what would be involved with the auto industry.
Also, I do believe that all golden parachutes, and bonuses of all the banks and auto people should be done away with, before any monies are handed out.
I think they could actually drop the price of the vehicles more than half the price and still come out ahead. They could all do away with their corporate jets and pay for their bank problems.
Why should we be responsible for a free ride for all these companies? Why are we picking and choosing who gets help and who doesn't?
Do not blame the unions, because if it were not for them the average worker in any industry would only be making minimum wage. Yes there is a cost with the unions, but not to the extent of what the corporates make in salarey etc.
Besides, the union are paid for by the people they represent.
