I know that it doesn't mean alot to the younger voters and to many people, but being older and having been in the Military I am very protective of the Second Amendment which Pres. Obama wants changed. If you do your home work he said he will not renew the tax relief that runs out in 2010. That means the taxes for everyone paying will go up. This will hurt alot of people on fixed incomes and retired people. I just hope he takes the middle ground on these items, and he should be given a chance.

It seems to me that we never see what the results of the voting on the Judges. I feel if we did, there would be a movement to get rid of some of them.

Yes 5k would go a long way covering the health insurance, all the State of Kansas has to do is tell the ins. companies the whole state is one group, problem solved.

I think if you would do a little checking, you would find out the illegal aliens and the pork barrel issues cost alot more than the war. Also the vets coming back form the war don't have the same opinion you are putting out that I have talked to.

Someone needs to watch over the Senate and the House. We need to have the crooks and the pork barrels stepped on. One man doesn't run the country, he and 594 others do run the country. We need to make sure they do what we elected them to do. I would love to see their retirement plan put to the vote of the people. We would see alot things changed if they got the same SS payments as the rest of our senior citizens.

The comments I read hear about a person from Alaska is about as dumb as can be. Most people would have fired the cabinet member before she ever got their. The Trooper should have been taken care of by his immediate supervisors. I don't agree with everything she stands for, but isn't afraid to do what she thinks is best. I would bet if all of Obama 's past where to be under a magnifing glass, they would be yelling race and more. If he gets in and he probably will I sure hope all of you good ole boys are ready for a real mess. He and his Chicago buddies have been a major players in the housing mess and thats the truth.

The point is we need to look at everyone of the folks in Washington and replace all of the good ole boys in both parties with new blood. I am sick of all the excuses and blame. Step up and admit your mistakes and get the ship righted and turn the mess around without taking any more of our money.

What planet did this person just come from? I thought the Dem's have been in control for the last two years. The guys whom have caused and helped create this mess need voted out of office. BHO is one of the problems, voting present isn't going to lead anyone to the promised land.

When are people going to realize that as long as we let these guys set in Washington without watching what they do we are going to get into huge messes just like now. The Dem.'s and Repb.'s both are to blame on this issue. The Financial Papers stated we were going to have problems, but no one wanted to listen. Now is the time to vote these people out of office, look up their voting records and vote accordingly. See how often Obama has voted, as well as McCain and see what and how they voted. Then choose, I am sure you will be amazed as to what each has done.

The smoking issue is getting out of hand, we have tax monies being used against the people whom pay them. We are reading all kind of excuses of why we need to be protected. I don't smoke, never have and won't start now. I however don't believe we should be walking all over the rights of the business owners. The answer is very simple, DON'T GO INTO THERE BUSINESS'S. We are losing more freedom's every day, their pocket book will control what they do. The laws on the books we have now do a good job of taking care of the problems.
