Just another case of having a certain name for your family in Olpe, you can do just about anything you want . 3 or 4 familys think they run that town, and to a degree they do.

Tyson will eliminate slaughter in Emporia

It used to be in Emporia , you were a butcher ,baker , or radiator maker. Modine is gone, Tyson on it's way out and Dolly is fighting Bankruptcy. What are the city business and community leaders doing to entice new jobs? Oh I forgot ,it's called import more Somalian's.

Bad housing

my main question is that this has been going on in emporia for a long time ,why haven't the city corrected it yet? seems like every few years it comes up ,but doesn't get dealt with. JMO
