As for the golf course:
1. The carpet does not need replaced. It's fine. If it did need replaced, and it's going to cost $7,000, you're getting ripped off. I put new hardwood floors and carpet in a house twice the square footage for less than that.
2. You don't HAVE TO enlarge the pond. They have several other ponds that are plenty big. If they would manage the water they have, the wouldn't need a bigger pond.
3. The parking lot needs patched, not repaired to the tune of $85,000.
4. Then mens room DOES need some help. It's like a roadside truckstop bathroom!
5. No way you need to lease 8 more golf carts. There's plenty there.

Let's all think about this...of all the times that we have travelled out of town, how many visitors centers have YOU stopped at?! It will become an eyesore just as the nice stone carvings on the corner of the fairgrounds have. Nice at first, not so much anymore.

I agree. If you didn't know better, the gazette would have you believe that there are no other sports teams in the area other than Olpe and Emporia.
