Here's an idea.....how about all the money that the city collects from the "fireworks offenders" goes to next years fireworks display.....I would donate....lol

outsidethebox - Sir you are totally missing the point of the article. I did not ask for your support in WHY we are here. I asked for help BECAUSE we are here. Some of the soilders may not agree with the war either but they are still here fighting because, as a prior military person you should know, they are told to. Most people did not join the military to come directly here and fight. But, since we are here sending over a few articles to help out seems like a nice idea. If you did not agree with it maybe you should have jsut kept reading......thanks anyways.

I commend the county commission on stepping up with the start of the money. Now is the time to start the committee up and work on next year, while it's still fresh on people's minds. If the county wants to raise the sales tax 1% I'm all for it. You know how much more spending you are doing at home how do we expect to keep getting the same services with less money for them to work with?? If the money is going for the people and services the people want than that is smart spending as far as I'm concerned.
