Steve_Corbin the yes you can get the Topeka Capital at home and the price is very competitive. You just have to compete with your neighbor to see who can be up and out your door first.
I am against "burgling" but is it still burgling if you go into someones house and leave a jar of jellybeans? im just curious.
also curious: if a bi-sexual go missing do you put their picture on a carton of half and half? If i marry two midgets is that big of me? im confused.
i do know two things. 1. Bert and Ernie are gay, and 2. burgling is bad.

simply put you tell a someone they cant do something and ego forces you to do just that. I have lived in countries with children brought up to believe that booze is not evil, but should be taken in moderation. Oddly enough though it was 100% legal for a twelve year old to buy scotch, you rarely, if ever, saw a kid drinking. In America we advertise like crazy that it is the adult thing to do, while at the same time turning it into a social taboo. We need to not worry about the age and start eliminating the double standard.
As a youth I was VERY into the marijuana scene, until my parents said it was ok to do as long as I was outside. It took all the fun out of smoking. I was not having this big fun secret anymore, simply put: I was no longer breaking the taboo, and it was no longer fun anymore.
No i am not advacating law breaking, just giving my two cents.
On Do you think binge drinking is a problem for youth in Emporia?

I'm just curious but with the health topic... While discussing the insurance is all well and good, how did medical costs raise to the point they are now? An X-Ray with insurance is around three hundred dollars ( I think), during the Korean War it was five dollars. I understand the cost of living has increased drastically in the last few decades but that much? The cost of my son's birth after insurance was around three-thousand dollars? I wholeheartedly believe medical cost are no where near what we are told. Is there a site that I can go to, to prove my case? Or am I mistaken?
YY4U- do you baptize dogs? mines not religious either, but he has a smell. lol

hello hello. You guys/girls still bothering with crackedinthehead? lol how about we all take courses on how to shoot yourself in the foot instead, its gotta be less painful. Methulsa why do you bother? You seem to be well educated, you maintain common/book smarts, yet you keep getting drawn into these mindnumbing debates with a person who wont tie her own shoes without the ok from CAE, police, and a hazmat team? I know this will upset crack, but strangely i dont seem to mind in the slightest. but you know us smokers, we just take no accoutability for our actions.
By the way if anyone is reading this, I didnt write it.

Hello hello. Hey heres a simple solution following the story. I have an open back and front yard. I must have very pleasant soil because dogs and cats like to drop a duece in my yard. Solution: I just pick it up, no whining, no complaing, just five minutes of my day. Once it is mixed with a mulch it actually Helps my grass grow, who wouldv'e thought fertilizer could be so cheap. I have been told dog excrement does not help a lawn but it has done wonders for mine.
Also most of the excrement has been provided by wandering dogs in the neighborhood, not by leashed animals. Although there have been a few leashed, when i ask the owner to clean up after the animal 98% of them are very compliant.

Letterman comment. His job is comedy, and shock comments. For all the whining and complaining that he should be fired for insulting that "poor defenseless woman's daughter", she has gotten nothing but attention about it. For some odd reason, even though she lost in the race with McCain, people still seem to think her every move is important.
As far as the press and her family, she is a politician of course they will be scrutinized. it wasnt that her daughter got pregnant out of wedlock, that happens to about sixty five percent of women now so not that suprising. I read the article published about her daughter and i cant tell you how nice it was to hear her whine and complain about how sex is a curse and if anyone else knew that it led to a screaming baby no one would ever have sex. Sweet thing for a mother to say dont you think? I'm a father and raising a kid is not difficult, just time consuming. I'd like to see her daughter twelve years from now ( the baby not palin's daughter) read that same article, and ask her mother why she decided to have sex when she was clearly not ready to be a mother. I trash the people who bring it on themselves. Believe me i have my skeletons but at least i own up to them and i dont blame the act of something. I blame myself. Maybe the Palins should try it once. But hey i'm just a regular guy, what do i know? Oh, and how old was palins daughter when she got pregnant? I think if she was at least fifteen then she should have known the backlash of sex, if not place some tin foil on her head so we know who to avoid!!!

Well hello hello people its been a while. First things first, everyone did good for a while on ignoring crackedinthehead, lets go back and keep doing that for a while longer.
Now i read something about "exposed to the elements". Great one more way for people to get sick.
Next, I know most people like to have a good time while drinking, but i also know it only take one guy/girl who had one to many to turn the place into "Beat my face in 2009" by insulting a patron, or in the sidewalk instance a person who is just walking by.
Also how does this affect businesses that already have a beer garden? Club Orleans, Beer Thirty, ect. Does the 20% change anything?
YY4U (my-noot, crackinsack) Not unlike McDonalds i'm lovin it.
Just let the smoking ban die. I am a smoker and like most of you, I was outraged when the ban was proposed and more so when it passed. However, it did pass. Now we have a new case to "investigate". Lets try to stick to the topic at hand, after all we finally have something new to hear crackedinthehead complain about.
Methulsa liked your argument about the pharmacy (pretty sure it was you) and the transportation hazards that "serve a purpose".
Rbow I appreciate that you put away your smoke when you saw children passing by, i was on the otherside of the rode walking with my wife and son. damn decent thing to do, too bad Walters couldnt see a smoker actually limiting exposure to a non-smoker, might have changed her whole perspective on EVIL SMOKERS. lmao. just kidding, ha ha but not really. But i digess...
