well elaine smith... 96.1 covered all of northern heights games, did they? just like kvoe covered all of olpe and emporias games. if kvoe is being biased for only covering two teams, which is twice as many as 96.1, then so is 96.1 for only covering northern heights. you see, you are being biased. no matter how big or small a radio station is, they can only do so much. no matter what, no radio station is not going to be able to cover ALL of the area games. if 96.1 is covering northern heights, why would kvoe cover the EXACT same thing that another radio station is already doing.. that just doesnt make any sense. so you are saying that you would rather have two radio stations cover the same game instead of covering two different games... tell me the reasoning behind that because ill bet you couldnt.

definately a good thing that they took the kid seriously, but honestly...... not to many people, especially kids, have a big enough set to follow through with something like this. now dont get me wrong, it is a good thing they took necessary precautions to prevent a columbine, but it was most likely going to be all bark and no bite.

sending the felons to fight might be a good idea, but it will never happen. who is to say as soon as they got overseas, that they wouldnt just take off and start a new life in a foreign country. we would basically unload our convicts into other countries, putting them in a lot worse of a place than some of them are in now.

you should not have to depend on one person to make the team. i know that you cant compare the two, but look at ku. if rush has an off night, chalmers or robinson is there to pick him up. same for darrell arthur, darnell jackson and kaun. you just have to find a way to work over bumps in the road.

but if you have someone that has tb why would you want them in our country in the first place. you dont know when tb is active or inactive and there is no way of telling just from physical appearance. TB is a life threatening disease, obviously. we are putting our country at serious risk.

those are all good points, but you are forgetting the obvious. why would you want a murdering, cheating pile of you know what back on the streets where your kids play, i think that is the real question.

If you are going to do it to one person you must do it to them all. That is fair right? I'm not defending what he did or saying that i agree with it, but I'm pretty sure this happens everyday.

i can understand wanting to get paid if they are forced to stay late, or remain on the line whenever there is down time, but like rdgrey said, come on.... you wanna get paid to get dressed, or wash hands.... thats freakin ridiculous..... when they say be to work by 6, or 10, or whenever your shift may start, that means be in your spot, on the line ready to go.... not in the bathroom scratching yourself taking your sweet @$$ time gettin to your spot... show up to work four minutes early and get dressed... what is four minutes anyway, at 14 bucks an hour, that equals a whole 93 cents.... now maybe when gas was 1.09 i could see your argument..... but prolly not.....
