I also have stopped at many travel places that were along the highway I was traveling. I think have this would benefit the community, and all the other travelers, even if they are not from Kansas. People from other states.

I think it is just GREAT that they are having a show this year. People will always find a place to park and you don't have to be really close to see the fireworks.

It is very good to know that no one was hurt in the fire. We are all very thankful to hear that. Our thoughts and prayers go out of this family in their time of need.

It is great that other students from other countries get to come here and study, but it becomes a problem when the American students are the minority and the teachers focus more on the international students than the students that are from the US.

That is how I was able to afford Chapel Ridge. One of the better apartment places in town, however, it comes with a pretty price. For college students, its almost impossible to pay 5-800 in rent by themselves. But each time I lived there I had 1-2 other roommates to make the cost more affordable after splitting.

That building is a huge eyesore to the community of Emporia so anything that goes up in its place will be better than what is there right now.

I understand that the US economy is in shambles right now, but I don't understand why so many people are opposed to change. I understand that people do not like change and maybe that is why, but for Lowe's to come in it would create more jobs for people who are out of work. I am not saying that I like the location that they have picked for the site, and think that they could maybe utilize the empty buildings around town such as Modine or Big Lots, but change is not always as bad as everyone thinks it is.

The real example that I have for this is the round about that was put in a few years ago.

Great job! It is always nice to know that someone is willing to help someone in need! You did a great job!

I also have smoke allergies. I think this is also a great move!

At work, we do not cater to their needs of smoking. If they have to smoke, they have to do it on their 10 minute break. They are treated just like everyone else there.

Public places are businesses. Smokers are able to smoke outside.

I agree about the smoking on campus. They are supposed to be 1000 ft from the door, but if it is raining, that never happens.
