Recount request filed for smoking ban question
Seriously... this is a joke. The ban passed and everyone needs to get over it. Stop making them recount because people think it's a miscount. It passed by what? Six votes? Maybe if 7 more smokers would have went out to vote you wouldn't be complaining.
Don't blame those that voted. Blame it on those who didn't go out and vote.
Personally, I loved Bruffs saturday night and I am happy that it will STAY that way.

Study: Don't expect an Olive Garden
Besides Italian, has anyone ever thought of putting a Chipotle in Emporia? I was at one in Topeka this past weekend and it's always busy whenever I'm there and also the one at The Legends mall in KC. A Chipotle would go over SO well in this town with all the high school and college students. It's not expensive and the prices are worth it for the food!

Tornado sirens alert residents
Qasey- was it kind of loud in there any? Is there a siren near the restaurant?
I work at quiznos and we don't hear the sirens in there because of the noise combined from the oven, walk in cooler, freezer, etc. plus I don't think there's a siren near the store either.
