Hey, maybe the person he stole "at least 1K less than 25K," found him.

"I don't think there is a week that goes by where I don't hear "I don't want to go back to ----- , this is the best jail I've had to stay in"
AWWW! Isn't that sweet! It sure is good to know that criminals like staying in the Lyon County jail! Do you leave them mints on their pillows every morning after you make their beds?
I would think you would want them to hate that place more than anything else on Earth, in hopes they don't want to come back, ala Maricopa Count Jail, in Arizona. You know, the one where the county spends more on food for the guard dogs than the inmates? Yeah, that would be good.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate what Bowyer has done for the community, but come on Zimmerman, don't gag on it.

Well, looks like another visit from the good-idea fairy! First the stupid and senseless smoking ban, then the genius idea for the completely idiotic visitor's center, and now spending almost $2 million dollars we don't have to put artificial turf on a 5-A Kansas high school football field. I think in Emporia, 2009 will be remembered as the year of the moron! Did everyone in power (or at least thinks they are in power) lose their fricking minds (except Mike Helbert)?
By the way, real men play football on real grass.

Crack, you said,
"It's a matter of not wanting to do anything for an undeserving, pompous fool."
Whatever happened to "say something nice, or don't say anything at all?" A little teeny bit of double-standards going there? I think so.

Watching the news elevates my blood pressure. Since there is such a big push to protect the public health at all costs, maybe we should ban the freedom of press...

"This used to be a funhouse. But now it's full of evil clowns. We're gonna burn it down, down, down. We're gonna burn it down."

HenryVIII, you said,
"If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all."
"LOL! I hope they never recover from this. They had terrible service and prices. There's a lesson here; you gotta pay your taxes, kids."
Sound familiar??

Emporia is a great place to live because it has the highest taxes in the State of Kansas, and the 5th lowest income per capita.
Emporia is a great place to live because it has a ~17% unemployment rate.
Emporia is a great place to live because the city itself is 60 million dollars in debt, and could very possibly be the first city in Kansas to declare bankruptcy in the next three years.

Also, if you plan on participating in a search party, please be informed this man is a convicted criminal, and could very possibly be armed and dangerous. I do hope they find this person, but PLEASE, use caution and don't go looking for him. Leave that to local law enforcement.
