Some county workers miffed by courthouse closures
TRAINRECH- Do you really think county employees don't work when we have floods? Wow, open your eyes. how do you think the barricades get there to let people know that it's not safe to take that road. Geez, give these hard working people a break. Could you work 12 hours off 6, then work 12 hours? These people have families and a life too!

This is for HenryVIII. Why do you assume that these employees don't have an education? I personally know some of them and they have a degree and not all of the employees work out in the field. They have people in the office too!! So think before running your mouth.

Wow, people coming to our town will say, "those rocks are nice." But once they get past that they will see what a mess some of our roads are and run down houses. Now that's an impression they will remember, not the stinkin rocks!

I can not believe this was approved!! The city of Emporia needs so many other things that could be improved. Why does Emporia continue to spend money so foolishly???

Save the Quonsets
They are ugly and outdated. Move them around by the animals. We are lucky to be getting a nice new large building that we can use for many events. Lets help Emporia be a nice place to live, not a run down town!!!
