This town is a joke! Thats all I have to say..... The County Runs wild around here. We have a city manager..... Do we have a County Manager???? I don't think so... The Paper and the Courts love blasting people all over the place. Just think about it. How many people have been charged with crimes, but because there family has no importance to most people they are left alone. Its a WHOS WHO in court in this town...
SAD how politics run such a small town.. If you don't believe me just look around here or read the articles of people who have been charged. not everyone makes it they pick and choose.

Student teacher facing charges

I WISH WHOEVER IS THE EDITOR FOR THE GAZETTE WOULD NOT LET THIS KIND OF CRAP INTO THEIR NEWSPAPER. WHY NOT WAIT UNTIL HE IS CONVICTED OF A CRIME BEFORE YOU PUBLISH IT. WHAT ABOUT ALL THE OTHER CRIMES THAT GO ON AND NOTHING IS WRITTEN ABOUT. PICK AND CHOOSE WHO YOU BLAST IS THE MOTTO FOR THIS PAPER. ITS SAD THAT I LIVE IN A TOWN WHERE YOUR NAME IS ALL MS. MYLNAR LOOKS FOR. I'M SURE YOU CAN GO TO THROUGH PENDING CASES AND FIND LOTS OF PEOPLE TO WRITE ABOUT. WHAT ABOUT GUYS SELLING DRUGS IN NEIGHBORHOODS HOW COME THAT NEVER MAKES PRINT. I GUESS ANY GUY WHO COMMITS A CRIME AGAINST A FEMALE GETS BLASTED. GRANTED WHAT THIS GUY HAS DONE IS FLIPIN HORRIBLE AND HE SHOULD BE PUNISHED FOR WHAT HAS HAPPEND. BUT I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO HEAR ABOUT IT ONCE ALL THE FACTS AND THE STORY IS TOLD TO A HONORABLE JUDGE. IT REALLY GIVES ME THE CREEPS TO HAVE TO EVEN HEAR ABOUT SOMEONE PREYING ON YOUNG WOMEN. I DO KNOW THAT 16 AND 24 IS A BIG AGE DIFFERENCE. HOWEVER MY SISTER IS THAT AGE AND THE WAY YOUNG WOMEN ACT THESE DAYS, THERE IS NO PLACE FOR A GUY HIS AGE TO BE IN A SCHOOL WITH TEENAGERS. I UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS HIS DEGREE BUT COME ON, SHE CANNOT BE 100% INNOCENT HERE. I DON'T KNOW THE GUY I RECOGNIZE THE NAME THOUGH. IT HAS TO BE SOMETHING THAT THE FAMILY WILL HAVE A HARD TIME OVERCOMING. LAST I CHECKED THEY ALL LIVE AROUND OLPE. ITS A ALREADY A SMALL COMMUNITY, I BET IT HAS DESTROYED ALOT OF RESIDENTS THERE. ITS REALLY SAD THAT THIS HAPPENS. HIS CAREER IS OVER, HIS LIFE IS NOW OVER. THIS WILL FOLLOW YOU AROUND FOR EVER AND EVER. I FEEL BAD FOR THE YOUNG GIRL FOR PURSUING THIS, AND I FEEL BAD FOR HIM. INSTEAD OF BLASTING AND CALLING NAMES, I JUST FEEL SAD, WE ARE ALL HUMAN BUT SOME ARE MONSTERS, OTHERS JUST MAKE REALLY F-ING STUPID CHOICES. NOW ITS UP TO THE BOTH OF THEM TO FIX THERE LIVES. THIS WHOLE THING MAKES FOR SICK.

Student teacher facing charges

Tell actually a lot of what they do is file charges on he said she said. I know a gentleman that got charged with 3 felony charges and 2 misd. all over he said she said bull crap. The charges would dropped but he still has the emotional damage and the fact that the gazette blasted it all over the news paper. I wish they would write about CONVICTED crimes not ACCUSED but the Gazette is all about making people who have a name in this county look bad. The man is always at fault. Its sad, because the county attorney's office is so influenced by SOS.

Co. Attorney warns parents of sexting

I don't think our local justice system knows what kind of damage a felony can do to someones record. I'm sure they will have no problem trying MALES for felony charges in a situation like this. With the constant influence of SOS in this community, the MALE is always at fault. Now granted I don't agree with Sexting at all. Unless ur 18 and over and the people who receive and send the messages it should be their choice if they go to authorities. But how can a male get a felony and a female and misdemenor. Women can be monsters as well as the men. In this day and age Males don't get a break its always there fault in domestic violence or sexually harassment. The CO. Attorneys office should concentrate on more important issues then this. Unless the kids are under 18 and don't like it, then do something about it. But sex is everywhere now and last time I checked more highschool kids are having sex then ever before. What's gonna happen when two 16 yearolds have sex and the parents of the girl find out and she gets pressured into going to the authorities what now?? O I know lets charge the MALE with 7 felonys and work down from that.
