Teen in stable condition following motorcycle wreck
Has the Emporia Gazette really stooped so low that it now gains information from Facebook? Yesterday I posted that Bobby D's has the greatest brisket in the world! I haven't seen an official AP release on Bobby D's accomplishment, but would the Emporia Gazette now consider this viable information? I pray that Gabriel is ok, and comes out of this completely healed, BUT over the last few accidents involving high school students, the Gazette has quoted from Facebook. I'm not a journalism major, but doesn't this lack some sort of skill or effort from those writing or presenting the information? Again, no negative views towards the gazette, I just want to know why it's come down to this?

BTW: Clint Bowyer just got in trouble and docked 150 pts.so he's now 12th, he was just referred to as cheating. Crew chief suspended for 6 races!

Goodbye and thanks
This is ridiculous... Usually a great writer, while I understand this was supposed to be humorous, it's more so offensive. Glad you preferred having a job over being homeless. But isn't that generally how it works. For a better way of writing a goodbye column, please refer to that of your predecessor Jesse Newell, who actually got a better job, still in the field of sports reporting. Good luck in the future.
