Auto burglary arrests clear number of cases
justthefacts; The resident has been in touch with the victims coordinator with the county attorney's office, and was told that probably nothing will be paid for because they were children, it will be sent to the court for consideration.

Auto burglary arrests clear number of cases
and now for the rest of the story...the resident who came upon the auto burglary on Friday evening and chased and detained one of the 3 young men that had trashed the inside of his vehicle will not get any help in replacing the dash and wiring that was ripped out of the vehicle. Plus once the young men were released from the police they returned and broke out every window in the vehicle- which also will not be paid for by the young men or there families. The police commended him on getting involved and helping them out and I am proud of him too, but where is the justice in all of this for him?

Surgical hospital closes today
The fact of the matter is that Dr. Amend did not see things the way the CEO at Newmans did and decided to get all the surgeons to start the surgical hospital to try to hurt Newmans. The physcians then told there patients that they had to have their surgeries at the surgical hospital because Newmans was to busy to do the surgery. I know this is true because I was told this by several people that this had happened to them. And there was one surgeon who would not buy into the surgical hospital and they black balled him until he finally had to go with them, So who was using tactics against who here??
How many people realize that when a physcian who is not an employee of a hospital but uses the surgery suite to do a surgery- is not charge anything to use that surgery unit and all the high tech surgery equipment? In fact if a physcian needs a new piece of equipment the hospital will go out and buy it so that the patients can have the best care possible. SO why would these physcians go out and build a surgical hospital and buy all the same equipment if not to line their own pockets with even more of your hard earned money? They wanted more say in their patients care.....ha ha ha! AND the nurses at the surgical hospital were mostly from NEWMANS.......
Also, I can not believe that Newmans MUSCLED a network into not accepting the surgical hospital, after all Newmans is a small fish in the big network pond. Come on!

City, county officials meet with Somali community
Somalians in this town are treated better then they treat the Americans. How many Americans would get away with chasing you in a car trying to run you off the road and then the police listen to them about the Americans throwing things at them and yelling obsenities and the Americans were all charged with Disordely conduct and taken to jail while the somalians were told to go back to there cafe. By the way, it started out with 3 cars of Somalians chasing the Americans and by the time the ordeal was over with there were around a dozen car loads of Somalians that came to the place where the Americans went to the police for help. The Americans in this case were treated guilty without anything but the Somalians word for it and the Somalians were allowed to go about there business without even a citation for wreckless driving. Does this sound like they are treated badly by "our" Emporia police??????? Sounds like the Emporia police are afraid of them, they told the Americans that they chose the wrong group of people to mess with and to stay away from them. By the way the Americans that were charged with this are all innocent. Bet you won't read about this in the gazette.
