Well said Jayhawker, you are absolutely right. ANTI-Civil Liberties Union is more like it.

Here is a person simply expressing how they are thankful to live in a country where they may freely practice their Christian faith. And then some fool(s) has to post an erroneous comment about it. They clearly have a problem with Christianity. Probably because it is contrary to their MTV lifestyle and their anything-goes attitude.

Thank you Adline, for encouraging us to vote for those who possess a moral compass. We are a country in need of truth and righteousness.

On Happy birthday

One night, in the fall of 2005, I was guarding my sector of fire on a rooftop in the middle of Mosul, Iraq. All of a sudden the entire city turned into World War III. Automatic weapons fire erupted everywhere, sending streams of tracers into the night sky. We started to panic, it was normal for sections of the city to go up sporatically, but the ENTIRE city??? The sky was bright with the red-orange glow of tracers and it sounded like everyone with an AK was letting lose at full auto. We started to panic. Were we about to be overrun?!!!?!! Then a voice came over the radio that all of Iraq had just beat Syria in a soccer game, and the entire country was celebrating by firing their weapons into the sky.

No casualties were reported.

So you mean to tell me Iraq can celebrate their victory in a soccer game with automatic weapons fire, yet we can't shoot our own fireworks to celebrate our independence in Emporia, KS??

I think your bike-decorating contest is a crock, Mr. Kelley.

Respectfully,
