Mayor wants term limits for advisory boards

I totally agree. I think this should go for all of them as well. We have suffered the "good ol boy" syndrome for way to many years. Its time to stop those connections that lead to bad decisions for the ones who pay for it. THE CITIZENS.

Interest waning for new recreation center

I hope they learned their lesson from the Aquatic center. Yes a new ERC would be nice but its just not a necessity at this time for the town. But those rocks sure were a great investment instead of upgrades elsewhere.

More underage drinkers caught at Desperado’s

I remember when I turned 18 and was allowed to drink in a bar. Then they changed it to 19 by July 1st. I didn't make the cut and had to wait till 21 while my husband at the time could and did drink.
If they can die for this country, they deserve a drink. But if they drink and drive.....then they should pay. Heh we survived the 80's. Next thing they will move the age up to 25, then 30. They are still the same at 18 as they are at 21 in my opinion.
