Corner house faces cuts
I think they are under staffed and need more help to make sure that no child falls through the cracks. That is what is important just as education for all kids. Our government pays out absurd amounts to other countries but let's our own kids fall short. NOW that should be a crime.

Jail time for dog owner
Once they kill a domestic animal there is no real safe alternative. If it have been a child no one would have questioned them being put down. It could very well have been. These breeds need to be cared and raised in a careful manner. That woman needs serious jail time and restitution. Doesn't Wichita have a ban on pit bulls?

Removing Islands?
Maybe we should call Holmes on Homes, he can come in and fix it right. And it won't cost a dime. I think that everyone in the community should give back and do something for free or close to free. Not necessarily this, but other projects that need help in funding. JMO

Public: cut salaries
If we don't support the education for our children, what does that leave for the future of them, us, our communities. I am going to find out what my children's school lacks and help directly. Tax money is being burnt up elsewhere so maybe we need to step in and have more fundraisers. Its up to us to take care of our own since our local and state governments can't seem to allocate it any better.

Proposal may restrict parking
I wish they could do something about home owners who park non working vehicles as yard art. Or a boat that never leaves the driveway and is a eye sore. There are to many people who have no regard for neighbors, home value and just plain JUNK for all to see.
