Crazy you say? Shouldn't be something taught in the schools? Does this not sound like another culture's halloween?

The reason it sounds the same is because it is. Quoting Holcomb, “Your ancestors are returning this one day of the year. Their spirits are going to be with you, and they’re going to partake of the essence of the offerings they bring you."

Look up the origins of halloween...it is a practiced high holy day of satanists & witchcraft. Sacrifices are not limited to food; try animals & humans.

On Students learn about ‘Day of the Dead’

Wookdog & others that are saying "If you don't like it then don't patron, etc"

Unlike being able to turn the channel on the TV, one cannot "turn off" the smoke filling the air. What is one to do, go over and put out the cigarette?

Breathing poisonous gases is hazardous to 100% of the human population, no one is immune to its effects.

Talk about wasted money...health issues related to inhalation of toxic fumes requiring medical attention.

On On smoking

As for the smoking environment...Flint Hills Lanes is actually very conscious about providing a "youth friendly" environment during their Youth League times. There is no smoking allowed by the adults nor, obviously, the children.

I don't see any reason this would be any different for a school athletic event.

As for the ash-tray smell...you are right about this being a smoking environment predominantly which means the overall inside scent will be ingrained w/ the smell of tobacco smoke. Even after the Saturday morning youth league one comes out smelling a bit like stale smoke.

8 of 10 other schools in the Centennial League have bowling as a school sponsored sport...the enviornment can't be all that bad can it?

On Bowling added to sports slate
