Yeah, stay in school, that way no one will ever have to be a truck driver. It's not the best logic you have in this circumstance YY4U. Remember, not everyone can be at the top.

I just think something needs to be done with that highway. I live just off of the highway out west of town, there are people who slow down in the middle of the highway to turn on the road or drive where they live. It is so dangerous to be behind one of these people and hope that a semi doesn't plow through you while waiting for them to turn. How they think it is okay to come to a dead stop on a 65mph highway is beyond me. How much common sense does it take to pull over onto the shoulder and wait for traffic to pass so you can safely turn?
Between those people and the ones who are so self important that they must blow by you and anyone else they deem to be going too slow, I don't know how anyone survives driving on it.

Taking a stand for the people he represents, in telling the rest of the board how the turf is simply not needed now. That to me is huge! He had the guts to do what was right!

Is there some verification for this? What is the reason? I am guessing the economy made it difficult, along with some of the problems they had early on, but I was wondering if anyone knew for sure.

I agree you guys, I went back and said that I would help in some way even after one of the posters got very angry and nasty, then they retracted and apologized, and haven't said anything since. And very suspicious that no matter how many offers of help they still are mum about searching for him. Makes me feel like it is a farce. Perhaps they all know he ran, and they are calling it a kidnapping or disappearance to lead everyone to believe something other than the truth whatever it may be.

I agree methusla, I attended a City budget meeting a couple of months ago, you know the one the commissioners wanted feedback on? I was naysayed at every turn, and they just seemed irritated by my suggestions and remarks. It amounted to nothing, they still went back and did what they wanted, and I don't know if any of the concerns I voiced were even checked. This just PAY UP AND SHUT UP way just makes my blood boil.

I shouldn't have to complain about how elected officials spend the money. If they spent it wisely and justly, or didn't spend it at all, because let's be real, they didn't have to or need to, then I would have nothing to complain about. I shouldn't have to attend meetings about such, that is what we elected them for, to do these things because I don't have the time to attend all of these things.
I also didn't know about the meeting, because, had I known, I would have tried to make some arrangements so I could have attended.
I still don't see this savings they are claiming, and how can you possibly save, when you have to get a new one in 12 years, and we will be paying for it for 27+ years.

I watched for it while I was out on lunch even though I went no where near the areas he has been seen in. I have two kids, I don't want some sicko out running loose.

I know create. I found that very strange as well. Perhaps he let them know he was okay somehow, and so they have nothing to complain about. Now maybe they have to keep quiet and hope he isn't found? I don't know either way, but it does seem terribly strange.
