Man wanted in connection with alleged Derby sexual assault
Makes you laugh to even consider this written article is from a newspaper, Looks like someone with a first grade education wrote it.

Sound Off - Repeal in-state tuition for illegal immigrants?
Our great country has enough problems without taking on rejects of other countrys when they arrive within our borders ILLEGALLY! If here legally that is a whole different ball of wax.
Do we as a nation now decide which laws to enforce? A law is a law, if we would enforce our immigaration laws currently on the books we would not even be having this conversation.

Rocky Conversation
The Emporia Gazette removed my post for an innocent, sane and civil rant against these rocks. Unreal they would remove my post as there were no personal attacks or foul language.
Regardless, the thought of $100,000 for 4 rocks is disgusting when the city and county are raising rates for EVERYTHING.

One monument started but no one can see it
Wow, the ego of our city counsel is quite annoying and beyond measure. The nerve of them to approve something like this when Lyon County just recently had the Ks. Legislature conduct a special session to rubber-stamp a 1% sales tax increase.
$100,000+ for 4 damn rocks, just amazing!

Monuments put on hold
The Great Pyramids of Emporia, just imagine the headlines around the world. Tourists will flock to Emporia from all around the world to see one of modern man's new marvels. Our imfamous city commission better start building/planning new hotels and designate double decker bus routes.

Monuments put on hold
They SIGNED A CONTRACT my fellow Emporian's, the stones are already purchased now "they" are just figuring out how to force us to accept it and love it at the same time.

Supporting the monuments
Bah humbug, we do not buy it, oh wait, I guess we did! Boondoggle = large stones used to attract tourism, unless of course they compete with the Pyramids at Giza.
