Higgins likes the running back at NWMS? Well he should the kids good. It's a lot easier to be a great running back when you have a great O-line, a good quarterback and coaches that believe in your talent. You can't blame the lack of scoring on the running backs on our team. The play calling has a lot to be desired and the blocking needs to be better. The snaps are low and shaky and the quarterbacks don't have enough time to execute the plays properly. When they do have time they are too slow. The other teams seem to move a lot quicker in the back field. When a running back is doing well the coach pulls him out. Last saturday Ko had been on the field and helped lead the team down to the 6 yard line and the coach pulls him out and puts in Weiser. Why? Then Ko has a 33 yard run and the coach pulls him out again? Why? Ko is a Red Zone player. He is the running back most likely to score when in the red zone but Higgins doesn't seem to realize that or respect that. All you have to do is read the stat's for the past 3 years and it is evident that when given the opportunity Ko can score in the red zone. Seems like Higgins doesn't care much about this year. He is the new coach and he can blame everything on Weimers. Too bad.

The new coaching staff needs to apologize to the football players and to the parents. I have never seen these coaches talking to the parents after the games or trying to get to know them or their kids. At least Wiemers cared about the boys. On the field it's just as bad. How can anyone expect the players to perform well and play like a team when they feel like the coaches don't respect them or value them as players or as people. I still believe that Higgins and his staff are just biding their time until they have all their recruits in place. Until then they don't seem to care if we win or lose. Ben Purkeypile has his own style as a quarterback. The coaches don't know how to utilize his talents. There are different types of running backs too and the coaches don't know how to utilize their talents either. I could go on and on but really, what's the point?
