It's funny that the standards are different for debate coaches and athletic coaches. What this guy did was mild compared to what I've seen some athletic coaches do. I guess the difference is that athletic coaches are expected to act that way. But why? Why shouldn't they be held to the same standards?

Wow. You used answer.com as a reliable source? That's really professional considering there are many other sources which are a lot more accurate.

And all this time I thought Little Miss Muffet was a fictional character.

I just love how the woman thinks it's the Gazette's job to make sure she knows how to get on the turnpike. Did the Gazette teach you how to drive to the grocery store? Did the Gazette teach you how to drive to work? Why don't you stop depending on the newspaper for your driving directions idiot.

What a poor ethical decision to print a story with an anonymous source for no good reason. I realize the man doesn't want to be identified because people will gripe that he shot the dogs, but perhaps if he's not willing to come forward and say who he really is then the story isn't that important. I really wish the Gazette would get more in touch with ethics and less concerned about getting their friends' lame story ideas in the paper.

Interesting that the Gazette would be complaining about less competition. Doesn't seem to make much sense business-wise.

Oh you crazy christians. Hopefully one day they'll find a cure for your unexplainable insanity and you'll see the truth.

Way to set a double standard Emporia. So they'll go around charging people $500 if your grass is too tall but they don't do a thing to somebody operating an illegal business? It really goes to show what knowing people in government will get you.

Wow. It's nice to know the ESU police are actually doing something. Too bad it wasn't on campus where they're supposed to be. I haven't seen an officer on campus in nearly a year. Why not do your job and stay where you're supposed to be.

Mr. Walker. Please don't try and pretend that you're trying to uphold the same standards as William Allen White. The modern Gazette is nothing like what White intended it to be and I believe he would be ashamed by some of the ethical problems with the current staff.
