The railroads made Emporia and Tyson et. al. took it away. Crocodile tears.

Democracy Countdown
How Long Do We Have?
'A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government.'
'A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.'
'From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.'
'The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years'
'During those 200 years, the nations progressed through the following sequence:
1. from bondage to spiritual faith;
2. from spiritual faith to great courage;
3. from courage to liberty;
4. from liberty to abundance;
5. from abundance to complacency;
6. from complacency to apathy;
7. from apathy to dependence;
8. from dependence back into bondage'

To Whom It May Concern,
Setting up a security system is a no brainer, and it does not have to be expense. Assuming you have experience setting up different types of security systems in different ways over the last 18 years in the very toughest neighborhoods you can't even imagine.
Now days its getting easier all the time.
I would set it up for you on the fly using my families treasure but I am not needed for anything here in Emporia.
As my father always used to say to me "Think ahead!". You failed to think ahead!
However, usually when I think ahead, especially here, "Suddenly I'm Dangerous" or I'm a nuisance.
My guess is that if I just donate the money you will waste it and Emporia will still not need me for anything.
I will not donate a penny of my families treasure or my time to people who think I'm a joke.
You know who you are.

To Whom It May Concern,
Thats why I use 24/7 Video Surveillance, Car alarms connected to my cell phone and a German Shepherd trained not to trust you unless I am present and say it's ok.
Where I used to live, everyone in my neighborhood, if you could call it a neighborhood, had been robbed in one way or another.. Sometimes at gun point. You couldn't trust the Police either.
Not being able to break into my car or living quarters they stole my darling German Shepherd puppy when I was not monitoring the surveillance cameras for only 10 minutes.
My darling Yoda Boy the German Shepherd had been sold for drug money within 20 minutes.
I was in a foreign country and I found my darling Yoda Boy the German Shepherd puppy 5 city blocks away inside of an out of the way small store, My darling, darling Yoda Boy had been dragged by his ears but with 30 minutes without the assistance of the Police I found him!!!
Emporia Police and Campus Police you did a fine job with the stolen car guys, congratulations on the team work!
However, you just can't touch the work I used to do without formal backup and not a word of English was spoken.
I can't reveal my methods or sources but I got my darling, darling Yoda Boy back in the toughest neighborhoods you can't even imagine.
Why Emporia Police, especially Lt Kelsch would not want federal extra ordinary experience on the force is beyond me.

Lieutenant Kelsch whats your beef?

What a bunch of commoners...
You are responsible for your own safety and your family.
I never leave home without weapons and know how to use and
how to not use them.
That's probably why Lieutenant Kelsch thinks I'm suddenly dangerous. He has refused a ride along for 8 years straight and
refuses to give a reason.
"As I walk through the shadow of the valley of death, I fear no
evil for Thy Stinger and Thy TOW they comfort me."
The dispatchers always send immediate assistance or backup if I can't handle a threat that is imminent and proximate.
When duty calls, I've got balls.
Grow up Emporia.

The burden of proof is less strict in civil court so EsqBB is right. If he he has a pot to piss in, then take his money away from him.
My father and cousin where both county attorneys here and they were very good at taking peoples money away from them. Anyone who challenged them left court pale as a ghost like a shadow through the tomb. I seen it!
My father once described himself as "Constitutional Lawyer" and as a "hired gun."
Get a "hired gun" when all else fails, but he was a big city lawyer in a small town. Just ask Virgil Basgil. When Emporia couldn't get a job done, they went to Frank Funston Eckdall, Esquire.
Even I was afraid of my father. But I loved him just the same for holding me to a higher standard than the rest, i.e. commoners.

Cory is a nice guy and that Tito is a real sniffer. It's a good thing they don't work where I used to work or they would not live very long or die from a natural death.

Boy how things have changed!
I used to work as a Bell Boy or Bell-Hop back in high school to pay off my car loan when it was called the Ramada Inn. Everyone thought my father had paid for the new car.
Is was a nice place to work back then, even if I was a Bell Boy.
Yes, it is a shame that it is the first thing that people see when they come to visit Emporia, ESU or William Allen Whites boyhood home.
However, I've been gone to long for any further constructive comments about the situation.
At least the Country Club is still a nice place!!

Thats right.
The parents have abdicated their role in teaching these children respect for property and the lives of others. Probably bad role models.
How could they like to think this is aberrant behavior? Do they not know there own children?
Furthermore, it is obvious that these children have never been punished before when the parents needed to correct or punish them, probably thinking is was the school systems or the states job to teach them right from wrong.
I think their behavior was monstrous, not aberrant
It would be very interesting to see who raised these monsters in our community and to see what values they projected to their children.Perhaps better said who did not raise them or teach them values even if tough love was necessary.
If they had only damaged property I would not be so harsh but it was the killing that sets these monstrous children apart from the rest.
