BIGBYRD, 007, OLDCOACH & others: You should demand and expect more from this staff- if you can't see what's happened to this program then you probably don't want to.

OLDCOACH- your statements are a disgrace to the coaching profession. I played for 10 years and never had a coach make excuses for our teams like I've seen you make here. I quit coming to games after what I saw Higgins do in his first year- like I've said many times before- somes coaches have it and some don't. That's in know way a reflection of the young men on the team- I know the effort they must put forth.

I'm sure Bigbyrd and 007 will have more explanations (excuses) for this one- no need to post comments this week since no other teams have injuries or underclassmen.

By late afternoon on the 7th of November we will be 1-10, and with any luck Higgins will be looking for a new job.

I must say that I agree with countrydog that the coaches are in way over their heads, I have thought that since Higgins was hired. Sorry to disappoint you 007, I see you are still hitting the bottle pretty heavily. As far as you go- YY4U, you and 007 should shack up together in San Francisco- I'm sure you think a lot alike.

Wow, that is very intuitive, 007- I must have missed that show. I really don't have anything to prove, the results speak for themselves- and you are doing a great job of showing your insight to the sport (and coach) the we are supposedly discussing. Maybe you should relax and have a beer!

Well, 007- I see you like your's shaken, not stirred. You must have had a few too many when you said this:
"Don't start this again, the program is on the move up. Coaches are doing a great job....several older players are playing super. I didn't see in the article where Coach Higgins said anything. You took it out of content by what the sportswriter wrote. It's foolish for someone to say the coaches don't want to win now."
Were you watching ESU at the time, or the bottom of a martini glass?

Really- must have been watching a different game. Maybe this is just the ending we need to such a disastrous (and embarassing) season to see Higgins heading out of town. Surely nobody can deem the last 3 years acceptable by any measure.
