I would like to ask Senator Barnett what is happening with his medical practice? Lots of new faces and many of the staff that have been there several years are being laid off or fired. Is there a problem at IMA? This is being talked about quite often in the public and us patients are wondering like tyson and other businesses is this practice going down????

This town does not care if your animal is missing. This is strictly for the CASH. Don't let them fool you that is the only reason. Squeeze all the money out of us that you can Emporia. Maybe that money will go to the street cleaning crew for snow removal since they do such a great job.haha

Maybe now they will get the respect and raises they deserve protecting all of us. It takes very special people to do what they do and also put up with what they do. Good job station 1 and 2 for all the great things you do for all of us...

Randomness: You reap what you sew! What a terrible person you must be. You make me sick and I don't even know you. David died protecting us all even you and how awful he is gone, and a hateful person like you is still here.... Air is wasted on you.
God bless David and his family and they have my prayers and thoughts in this terrible time. David is and will always be a hero. His little girl should be told that all her life what a gift her dad has given us all for protecting our great country.

Lets all get in a circle and hold hands and sing. That is crap. To get respect you have to earn respect. To get a drivers license you need to study the book (in English) and take a written test and pass with a good grade. To drive a car you should drive with respect for the other drivers on the road and follow the signs. To go to another country you should be respectfull of there religions and cultures and not expect to be taken care of and given things. I don't see the Somalians being respectfull in any of these areas. I don't believe it is going well here in Emporia and have never personally talked to anyone that thought it was. This is just smoke to let other communities go down this spiral as we are thinking that it can work. It can not work if the people coming into the community have NO respect for those other than themselves.

If that is the case then all you have to do is steal one or take one. So I don't think it is going to help except for those students who abide by the rules and will always keep theirs on. For the others that are the true problem they will continue to be by leaving it at home or giving it to someone else to change their identity for the day.

The city pays paramedics terrible in Emporia that is why so many are leaving or would rather drive to Lawrence or Olathe to work. I would like to ask Paula Taylor why the ER at NRH does not employ paramedics if it did maybe more would stay. If the ER had paramedics they could take the transfers and leave the city for emergencies only. Many hospitals have went to paramedics in the ER. Also, alot of people have trouble with Paula Taylor DON at NRH being married to fire chief Jack Taylor. It seems like a conflict of interest when he can not fight for his ambulance crews. I have alot of friends that work for the city as paramedics and they state this is a HUGE problem....

Throw the book at them. Give them the highest punishment available. We need to make examples of them so maybe the other young criminals will think twice.
