I think the city crews did an excellent job, especially considering the timing of the storm and the conditions that they had to deal with. Thanks to them all!

What happened to restaurant?
Such a shame. I had waning hopes that it would re-open. I asked so many others, but no one seemed to know why they were no longer open. I had eaten there 3 or 4 times and really liked the place. I thought it was a nice fit for Emporia.

City approves resurfacing of Commercial
How about 30th street? That one is a freaking mess! Just trying to get to Holiday Resort from the East is like running an obsticle course. Many other streets in Emporia are in a lot worse condition than Commercial IMO.
