I agree with coble 34. You folks at the local convenience need to get a hobby rather than sitting drinking coffee and speculating on what the facts are. My pet name for you is the "Texaco Liars Club". You really are like a bunch of old craggy vultures just waiting for something to happen so you will have something to talk about, truthful or not. The sad fact is I know most of you and individually you are rally nice, but as a bunch, it is like you can't stop yourself if something happens to someone.

Olpe has been lucky to have lots of super kids in their football program the last few years. It took the whole team to make it to the State Championship game last November. This will be a rebuilding year. They will miss that whole senior class they lost last year. Good Luck to all the Olpe kids!

Congratulations Eagles!!. 2nd in the State. Olpe has played well as a team all year. I think the offensive line deserves a lot of credit for quietly doing the grunt work all year long. The offensive line members are Clint Barnhart, Mark Windle, Jase Hubert, Scot Swan and Alex Dreier. The running backs and quarterback would not score the points they do without you guys up front blocking and protecting Matt when he is passing. Give yourselves a pat on the back for a job well done.

I agree with neighbor. The eagles should be proud. However, lets give tons of credit to the players that do the grunt work for the team, the LINE. The quarterback and running backs wouldn't make the points they do without the blocking the line does or the protection they give Matt when he is passing. Congratulations! 2nd in the State!

Let me clarify. We have 2 issues here and you are co-mingling them. I agree the children need to be protected. We have laws in place and we may or may not agree with how they are administered. We may or may not agree with the punishments given out, but this is our judicial system at the present moment. Better than most places in the world.
I did not say the vultures are the ones attempting to harm the kids, nor are they turning their heads. They just seem to enjoy talking, whether they know the facts or not, or considering the harm gossip can bring. Guess it makes good coffee shop talk
