the commissioners need to take a look at the city budget with no new taxs. WHY ARE THEY HELPING NEWMAN HOSPITAL GET EQUIPMENT OR DOES THIS MEAN AS TAXPAYERS WE GET TO USE IT FOR FREE???

emporia get real! do you have any idea how much money you have to make to support a restaurant. emporia does not a location for this. the hwy 50 death trap is not the answer its to late we did not have a plained business district 40 years ago and now we are paying the price. someone needs to open or rebuild the S&S cafe to keep all the trucks away from the J

Again Emporia schools are a baby sitter.Drop bus service for the city kids & make parents or older high school kids be transportation or better yet walk like it was when some of us went to school. That way you dont have to change start times. SEE HOW MONEY YOU COULD SAVE

with all the truckers in town and no place for them to eat You would think being close to a truck stop you would be open 24/7. If you want to only work part time open a restaurant down town wher your hours will work!! You cant pay your rent open only 40 hours a week unless you price yourself out of business!!

Needs to start with the heavy badge at the Emporia Police Dept.Why do they pick on the 18 / 21 age group? There is nothing to keep students here on the weekends.IF Kstate and KU can do it so should Emporia. Also no jobs for students!
