Why not just rent it out to college kids as it is now? That way it can be cheaper for them since they're not paying for a brand new building they're going to trash and not live in for too long anyways.

I think you guys must have been watching something else. Palin was a complete joke! I felt like she was a comlete idiot and didn't know what she was talking about. She was just avoiding all of the questions she didn't know how to respond to. I think I would much rather have a VP that actually knew WTF they were talking about, rather than someone who knows how to sweet talk people. She constantly had a blank stare as if she had memorized what she was going to say or something. Talking about the Same-O Same-O, doesn't McCain support Bush. Hasn't Bush done enough damage? Do we really want another 4-8yrs of that crap? That is if he lives that long. Palin just seems like she doesn't really know what she is talking about most of the time and that IS THE BOTTOM LINE! good night!

I usually do criticize the police, but I wasn't really meaning to criticize them today. I agree they did an excellent job. I seen them chasing that white car down 6th and they slowed at intersections and kept their driving under control. I was just trying to say this article was written because of yesterdays comments.

Or maybe all the criticism they received prompted them to write an article about how "safe" they kept the chase. I've never read an article focused so much on the safety of a car chase.

The police also found another stolen car in the back yard of one of the suspects who lived in the 900 block of Lawrence St. As for the police chase, they weren't driving that fast. Maybe 55-60 mph through the school zone. And if they would of hit someone, they'd just charge the person driving the stolen car anyways, so the police don't worry too much about how fast they go in a chase.

I think that it is sad that all of the comments above focus more on what the adults did wrong, rather than showing sympathy. I'm sure both of them feel horrible about the entire situation even occuring. They have a lot on their plates now, they sure don't need others criticizing their actions as well. I'm sorry that they have to go through an event like this, no one wants to get in a wreck, especially not with youngsters. I pray for a speedy complete recover. God bless!

I was wondering what a "Flye" or "Flyeover" was, so I clicked, and I found out it's just people don't know how to proofread their titles before posting them.

Paintballs come off with just water, no soap needed. Just the rain is usually enough to clean up paintballs. And unless they were frozen paintballs, I can't imagine one chipping paint on a sign, even at point blank range. If they were that dangerous, people wouldn't be shooting them at each other. People should just be glad they're just using paintballs and not firearms. I see tons of signs with bullet holes in them that have been there for years. Why don't they need replaced?

Isn't bringing in the Topeka Bomb Squad and the ATF a little excessive and wasteful for a sparkler bomb ?
On City street is blocked off for bomb investigation
