I think everyone should be happy that Mr. Davis proposed this idea to bring the fireworks back. Some people have been making this annual tradition since the 1960's so "midnightlilly" should probably think about other people's traditions that have been going forever. It not only makes people happy, it makes the town of Emporia look like they care about making the people happy!

For once could you small town people stay out of other people's business. This is the only reason people buy this paper is to read about who has been in trouble the past week, and then you guys go drink coffee and tell everyone about it. The only comment I read was he should be hung.... REALLY? You people need to grow up and get a hobby. Maybe you people should try fixing your lives instead of getting enjoyment out of people getting in trouble..... I feel sorry for you people.
