This is a great move by the Kansas AG and I wish more states would actually provide this service for their residents. This kit now allows residents to recieve what they would normally pay for from some of the identity theft services.
I do want to let people know that identity theft takes a person between 150 - 600 hours of time to repair on your own. The kit certainly helps, but depending upon how messy your identity has become, it will still take hundreds of hours.
I have only come across one service that actually performs a large portion of the identity restoration for you wit licensed fraud investigators and that who I use to protect my identity. If anyone is interested, it is at www.chooseppl.com and is very inexpensive for what you get.
