I am not the best at Math but here is the rushing totals

Looks like 10 yards a carry, not sure about the 1,2,or 3 yards up the middle comment. Maybe if they wouldn't have worried about the 5 yard up the middle runs, somebody would have been on the outside to stop the 70 yard runs!

He doesn't have the most talent on the team.........he has the most athletic ability, but isn't the best athlete on the floor because he coasts....big time athletes don't coast when the clock is running. He spent half the time bending over grabbing his shorts rather than jumping and playing.
If he can high jump 6'10" (which he has proven he can do) then why can't he average double figure rebounds since theoritically he can jump higher than anybody else on the floor and Emporia shoots all these three pointers???
Not knocking Brandon because he seems like he is a good kid, and does the right things, just observing from the stands! I am sure that the coach wouldn't disapprove if he drove the ball to the basket and made a lay-up each time down the floor??

I am sure he was given free rein 2 years ago, but it's a lot easier to perform when there is no pressure what so ever and the competition level is way down from what you normally play against.....

I am sure that teams like Silver Lake or Jeff West would like to be featured in the Topeka Capital but back to my original point that it's the TOPEKA Capital. They feature city teams just like the Gazette features Emporia teams.

Last time I checked it's called the Emporia Gazette, not the Lyon County Gazette. If these teams play in Emporia then the Gazette does a wonderful job of covering it. If they don't play in EMPORIA then they should feel lucky about getting their scores posted in the paper. You can probably look at the other papers in this state that do the same thing. Sorry that these little towns don't have their own newspaper to cover their teams!

If you want to smoke at either place, excuse yourself for the 30 seconds that it takes to suck down one of these cancer sticks and then come back inside.
If it's too cold wear a coat
What would be sad is if there was a smoking bar, that sold nothing but cigarettes and that was all you could do in the bar and they banned it, but that isn't the case so I think people should be greatful for this being passed!
