Conservative politics
The low approval rating is more of a reflection on US politics in general than it is the Democrats. I would much rather have a stalemate in congress right now than a Republican controlled, spending, warmongering, sex-scandal fiasco.

The poor congress approval rating has as much to do with the Democrats as it does with the Republicans and their president.
I hope we all understand that a simple majority in congress does not ensure anything will be passed. Especially with a lame duck president that could care less.

Merit? Banning science is does not reflect well on the merit of Kansas. I am proud to say I am from Kansas, but it is EMBARRASSING when our policy makers continue to send Kansas backwards with poor political decisions.
The jokes and judgment passed upon Kansas are a direct result of its policy making.

This is the greatest story I have read in almost a decade!!!! It's the Religious Right that has made Kansas the laughing stock of the United States lately. Welcome to the 21st century. It's time to move forward, not backward!
