Is it possible he started walking and took a ride with a stranger? does he have a debit or credit card? If so, is there a way to check and see if its been used lately? Can you check his email to see if its been used lately? try organizing a search using volunteers, pick a saturday when there will be more people off work. I hope he is okay.

Since Emporia is the founding city of Vets Day, lets rename several streets and give each of them the name of a well know military person.

Lyon County Sheriff Gary Eichorn said they are still looking for a man who reportedly went missing almost two weeks ago. Eichorn said they have had men working the case each day, and nothing has turned up. 27-year-old Brian Lee Trester was last seen leaving the area of 1703 road 120 near Neosho Rapids shortly after 6 am two weeks ago. Trester's vehicle, an orange full-sized pickup, was found stuck at roads 75 and “R-5” shortly after he was last seen, but he was nowhere to be found. Trester’s family reported that they had not seen him since he left for work on the 22nd, which was unusual. Sheriff Gary Eichorn said that Thursday 14 people were walking the area where he was reported missing; some of them from the Missouri Search and Rescue Team and their K-9 team. Also taking part in the walking search was Wild Life and Parks, the KBI and volunteer police officers. Nothing has been found, and Eichorn said they are working every possible lead.

Thanks for telling me how to get rid of the telemarketers that call my cell.

The way I read Goodoleboy's comment, he meant he was glad to be rid of another telemarketing company, nowhere did he say he was glad for the job loses. No it's not good that a tax paying business is leaving and there will more unemployed folks in the community, but I have re-read his comment and I still didnt see him taking delight in the job losses. Look out Goodoleboy, the telemarketers have been finding cell phone numbers which is very annoying!

i dont know what someone like myself could do to help find him. i have taken time to read the fliers in the store and read the news on him and i find myself taking a second look at men who fit his description in case its him. if the police arent doing as much as you think they should, take it up with them, maybe a little pressure from the family would get better results has the police used the dog to try and find him i thought one of the reasons for getting the dog was to help find people i would be sick if a relative came up missing there has to be some type of explanation for his disappearance and i truly hope he comes home safe and sound sorry for the poor punctuation my keyboard is broke

Dreamer, these were just suggestions of things to help find him. I dont know him or know the whole story. I m just trying to be helpful and we've had family crises before so I understand how upsetting it is. I will help anyway I can if I know what needs to be done, until then, just keep hoping for the best.
