I love the piece you wrote Mr. French , great work. I have hope and feel we all can come together as one people. Nothing will stop a nut job from wanting to harm us no matter who is in the white house or what color they are. I think Obama has a solid mind set and knows what he is doing. He gave me hope I lost for the past 8 years.

You know open eyes I dont know what we can do other than pray to our God for peace and when it hits we all know where our souls will go. I just dont trust goverment or the law enough to give them this kind of power over all of us.

I think America spoke when they spit this corrupt administration out like a christian rebuking the devil. We will be attacked again whether the patriot act is in effect or not. Russia is the one to be concerned with more than anyone.. in my personal opinion. Regarding the Patriot Act, I dont have crap to hide, Im drug free and no record but thats not the point. It is a direct violation of our freedom and privacy. We all know there is corrupt goverment and law enforcement. Why would a law be passed by one of the worst administrations I have seen in my almost 50 years on this planet to allow this type of an invasion on our life. It goes so much more deeper than just tapping your phone.Not only can your phone be tapped,you can be surveillanced,form of stalking. Your medical records and your childrens school records and your library record ,your bank record and what religious organizations you belong to can ALL be invaded by a corrupt system. You can also be detained and questioned without an attorney present as long as the word "terrorism" is being thrown around for them to violate you. If that doesnt sound like communism of the Marxist-Leninist version I dont know what does. My son is at ESU to become a histroy professor and he checks out extremely controversial books that could raise eyebrows because the Americans dont always look great in them. We have several black marks on us in America. That dont make him or anyone that reads them a terrorist. The goverments definition of terrorism is very vague in this act. Because of this act he could be considered that of a terrorist by a corrupt law and goverment. Several states and cities have brought lawsuits over this act. This is not just for immigrants it can be dangerous to anyone. Some people that voiced concerns about it was questioned by the FBI. What it boils down to is ABUSE of power that is UNconstitutional. Obama has said he will take a long look at it and /or reform or remove it.

I am so happy to see the nation come together. I was born in the South. I did not think this day would come. I have faith in Obama. I voted for him and I pray he can mend this wonderful country I love. Over the last 8 years I have seen go to hell in a hand basket. Laws being passed by corrupt Republicans that have violated our civil rights such as the PATRIOT ACT. This has to be the worst thing any president could pass. When the goverment and law enforcement has that much control over all of us as Americans I find a DISGRACE. It goes against what we stand for. I have a sticker on my bumper that reads ..911 the beginning and rise of a police state. I feel Bush used that day to not only put us in a war that we should not be in but used it to destroy our constitutional rights every chance he could. I hope for better days and our rights restored. GOD BLESS AMERICA !

I feel it is a very necessary story because we have a ton of kids just like him walking around with bad parents, bad schools and foster parents that are not so great. These kids get tossed from home to home who knows the abuse they may go through at every home. The legal system is not there to help them its all about money and punishment. So someone can slap there self on the back like there doing something. I feel you have a lot of people that talk plenty of crap that never had NONE these problems in life . If you come from a cushie life with mommy and daddy and no abuse what the hell do you really know about a person that does come from that life. , Unless you lived that life your books are worthless and your degrees on the wall are crap. The news media only cares about a story and no one does Sh*t to help these people until its to late in most cases. Im not saying everyone thats on drugs or been done badly in life turns that way but some will and who knows who anymore. Theres so many kids falling through the cracks of one broken system after another . Some kids are very ill and need help and one thing for sure he needed help he never got . Thats not an excuse for what he did at all but who knows what has happen to him in his young years that made him so sick. Im sure something went real wrong that he was in foster care and detenions at such an early age. The only help that boy got being that many years ago.. was drugs. I been there done that with my son. Thats there so called help. Its better now than it once was but not by much. I hate drugs and feel they have become the answer to peoples every problem in life and that can be dangerous. Look up the number one selling drug last year ( Paxil ) You know the one that can make you suicidal and make you do crazy stuff that you normally would not do. (That one ) How many bottles of that crap was being pushed down kids and adults throats to make it there number one seller. I dearly love kids and I will never shut up about the stuff I see going so wrong with them and to them . I dont care who likes it or doesnt, They need people to stand up and bitch for there rights and what is happenening to these young peoples lives is destorying a future generation.

Change is a beautiful thing and should be embraced. I too love what the Gazette has done Davee. It is different and thinking out of the box is always inventive.

Davee, I think I did the right thing. I am just not going to answer to the negitive anymore from her or anyone else. Thats what I meant... I will no longer make time for it. I like talking about the stories I personally dont like the attack crap its childish and it doesnt contribute to the story at all .I agree we are way off the subject.

The parents of this young lady needs to get her into counseling and get her all the help she may need to work through this. I was raped at the age of 12 and had no father around to help me and my mom was a drunk that lived at the bars and no brothers or sisters , my grandparents lived miles away. I helped myself by becoming a hopeless drug addict for 17 years of my life. I have been clean for 21 years now but children can take horrible turns in life without love from their family and support. God Bless them through this long journey.
