Seriously folks, who cares. Football is more popular than soccer, and it always will be. No disrespect to the athletes who love and play soccer. But until soccer draws a couple thousand fans to their games, it will continue to get overlooked in favor of football. Duh.

I read the article. It was actually about how ESU competes with all the big boys in the MIAA despite having the second smallest budget. It was very interesting. I think we are all very lucky to have the coaches we have at ESU, because ESU simply does not have the money that Central Missouri, Pitt, and now, even Nebraska-Omaha. Yet, the Hornets are still winning championships.
As for commenting on the story... Can't you go read the story in the ACTUAL NEWSPAPER and then comment right here like you just did. Have some common sense people. You post a comment about not being able to comment. Do you not see the stupidity in that? Good grief. It's obvious that all you want to do is slam Kent Weiser. If you have a problem, why don't you go talk with Weiser instead of b***hing about him on the internet

Massacre? Seriously?! It's a terrible thing what happened to those birds, but to call it a massacre is extremely over the top. What happened at Columbine was a massacre. What happened on 9/11 was a massacre. Four birds that were killed at the Emporia zoo, no matter how inhumanely, does not qualify as a massacre. Talk about being overdramatic.

How am I being unreasonable when I present facts to you about the weakness of the opposition ku faced last season and find it absurd that fabio thinks Todd Ressing is actually a Heisman candidate?

But I certainly am not the only one who believes ku getting into the BCS last year was a complete joke. Take a look at this ESPN article. Of particular interest is number 8 under the headline Just Plain Stupid...
