If our government would not have hogged up so much land and let it get overgrown by lack of management (such as the wildlife refuge down by Harford and Jacobs Creek) they would not need 6 billion to fix ther mistakes and they would have money to take care of the National mall.

These zoning laws are just another reason we need to fight the Revolutionary War again!

I am with Bjnemp and jayhawker. There is no way I can vote for anyone who wants to be a dictator like Hitlery or Obama.

Jim Barnett has done a decent job as a legislator. My only complaint is that he quit campaigning after he received the Republican nomination for governor and let the current hairbrained governor stay in office. That, in my opinion is the biggest mistake he has made and we are paying dearly for it!

No need to worry about Newman expanding as long as it remains a 4-hour-wait-band-aid-station!

"Woods said salt isn’t applied to gravel roads because it eats away at the base of the road and the road will have to be re-built."
What base? The maintainer drivers have already eaten it away! There is not a base left because there has not been any gravel added to most of the roads forever! There are many places where the road is the lowest place between pasture fences so the water just runs down the middle of the road and wash them out more! These are not minimum maintenance roads I am talking about either!
I understand that the County can always use more equipment, but why do they need 3 times as many trucks as they had last year. I could understand getting one or two more, maybe.

Hmmm...County Attorney cannot file charges against someone for creating a toxic waste dump, but has no problem pressing charges against someone for defending himself in his own house with a gun...interesting priorities.
