I, too, have to agree with Zane, Merry_Carol, and create, the story did not have enough information concerning these two veterans and their adventure across America. Also, there is no rank of sergeant in the U.S. Coast Guard. Like the U.S. Navy, the Coast Guard enlisted ranks are; seaman, fireman, airman, and Petty Officer. This was another part of the story that was somewhat vague. It's too late for a re-write, but I hope the two veterans well in their journey.
