Experts, clients testify in fraud trial

This all comes down to bad people do bad things. You can try to justify it however you want but it is only human nature for some people to try and cheat whenever they can.

Funding cuts hurt taxpayers

I am glad to see that I am not the only one who thinks the school district is not acting responsibly with OUR tax money. Unfortunately it has been going on so long that the school now feels that we owe them something. Wrong they are govt employees so they work for us. When times get tough they should remove the fluff from the budget and provide the essential services. Forget about the turf and worry about the textbooks.

noneya,
When someone has hurt as many people as Brian has you should expect some negative comments. By argueing with other posters you are only throwing gas on the fire. Maybe you could direct you agression towards a productive use.

Questioning bidding process

YY4U... I wan't going to say it BUT I think the gazette should look into it. Why else would they pay more for the same item.
And for everyone else. Remember we get a vote to, at the next election. Lets vote these wreckless spenders out and replace them with people that will be accountable for the trust that they have been given.

Taxing authority is sticking point

The extension idea died when the internet became common place. The job that most extension agents currently do can be done by anyone with access to the internet. It is time to cut the bloated goverment spending not increase it. Thank about it, when was the last time YOU used the extension office.

Public meeting on extension districts held

I am tired of groups wanting a blank check to spend my tax dollars as they see fit. There is nothing wrong with the current way that the extension office is ran and no reason to change things.

Extension district topic of meeting

"Projections are that only half of that will be used" If anyone believes that I have some ocean front land in Chase county that you can buy. If you can afford the taxes!!!

City’s Salary scale is extensive

A lot of jobs have benefits and all companies pay into social security and medicare so that is really a mute point. The only difference between city workers and other workers is the retirement benefits.
