It seems you always like to talk about how you think President Lane isn't supporting the athletic programs well he has been supporting ever since he got to ESU. He was at baseball and softball games in the spring and he has even been going to many of the volleyball games this year. Maybe you should check with him to see if he followed the football team down to Pitt for the last game of the season. He is supporting ESU athletics so just give him a chance.

Yes the Ark City plant and the one here are the same. Although they probably do kill a few less cattle a day but that shouldn't make a difference on the smell.

We are comparing apples to apples. The Ark City plant kills and then processes. I have taken tours of both plants and the Ark City plant is more modern but they both are doing the same thing. I think Tyson could do something about the smell but they just don't want to spend the money to improve this plant.

I don't think Meat Processing plants have to smell. Go take a tour of the Creekstone plant in Arkansas City. They have a very modern plant and you don't get the awful smell like we do here in Emporia.

GAME UPDATE: Washburn 31, ESU 21 — FINAL

Thank you ef6. I couldn't have said it much better. I think footballeyes is either Ben's dad or a family member. That is the only reason someone would stick up for that kid. The kid threw 2 passes against Washburn and one of them was a bad interception. I think Ben needs to have his eyes checked maybe he is color blind and can't tell the difference between the jerseys. He sure threw a beatiful pass to the guy from Washburn.

This guy is a Slumlord. He goes by Bill his real name is Billal Syed or something close to that. He is awful and has properties all over Emporia. I rented from him for a short period of time and I had a problem with the electricty. He sent over one of his friends who had know idea what he was doing and the guy actually asked me which wire is the Hot wire. Everyone beware of this SLUMLORD.

Talking trash

Here is my problem. I am a small business owner in Emporia and guess what I spend evenings and weekends cleaning up my property to make sure it looks nice. I think it should be the responsiblitiy of the owners of businesses and not the cities problem.

‘A Great Honor'

I'm not sure how you pulled me into this. I didn't say one word about the accident. All I commented on was the fact that he isn't playing at Emporia State since he is to much of a trouble maker for the new coach. When saying he was a trouble maker I was talking about the cruise he went on this year and the trouble he got in. I wasn't trying to bring up the accident he got in since I know all of the people that were involved. Don't lump everyone together that thinks the kid is bad news.
