Youth attendance dropped at pool
I agree with anonymous2010, the lifeguard breaks are ridiculous. Come on people....$2.50 is so expensive? ...and Clint Bowyer picks up the tab for part of the summer. Where can you go to a water park of Emporia's caliber for so much less than $2.50? I think the bridge being out was a huge deterrent...should be a lesson to the city how hard road construction can be on a business...enough to put it out of business.

I think you restaurant/bar owners underestimate the number of people who are not frequenting your establishments because of the terrible smell! The smokers are a loud minority here.

If those people that suggested this law about "dogs at large" were really concerned about safety, I think dogs riding in driver's laps are a much bigger threat to public safety than dogs in the back of a pick up.
