MANHATTAN — The final two days of the season are not how the eight Madison seniors wanted to end things, but it did not take away from the most successful Bulldogs boys basketball season this century. Madison finished fourth at the Class 2A state tournament in Manhattan after losing the third place game Saturday to Berean Academy 50-38. “This has been a great group of guys on and off the court,” said Madison coach Lance Tally. “The outcome this weekend is not what they wanted with two losses after we only lost three in the regular season. But we played some really tough teams.”
