Of course there is, there always has been and always will. It is exactly like backing a stray cat into a corner, it is going to hiss and attack you.

Well, you should. If you mindlessly walk across the street, you are very likely to get hit by a car.
If you mindlessly travel across countries, you are likely to end up in a crossfire or a war.
If people never thought about anything, we would still be living in trees and be and throwing sticks at each other, living to about 20 dying of disease.
Thinking about things can extend your life, and help others alot more.
