Second printing
The first printing of the Americus Sesquicentennial book was sold out and a second printing is planned. To order a copy, (620) 342-5707 or (620) 342-7670 or (620) 443-5214.
The Americus Township Library has a copy for the general public to view and inspect.
Recycling
The recycling trailer for Northern Heights High School will be located in Allen near the Youth Center during the summer months. The dates are June 5, June 19, July 10, July 24, and Aug. 7. The trailer will return to the high school area on Aug. 2 when school resumes.
Americus Days
The next meeting for the Americus Days Committee will be at 7 p.m. June 22 at the City Park. In case of inclement weather, the meeting will be held at the Presbyterian Annex, 561 Broadway. Farmers’ Market
The first Farmers’ Market will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday on the west side of the Americus Park. Vendors will be in the shelter house if the weather is inclement. For information, (620) 443-5480.
Yard sales
The Americus Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the city-wide yard sales on Saturday, June 21. For information, Dana Eckstrom, (620) 443-5845.

Yes, Americus has planned citywide yard sales for June 21.
