Carol Moyer sticks a bandage on the arm of Jean Lambert of Neosho Rapids after administering a flu shot Thursday afternoon at the Anderson Building on the Lyon County Fairgrounds. The flu shot clinic served 1,584 patients, with 313 coming in the first hour of the day-long event. Health and law enforcement officials, Red Cross, student nurses and other volunteers gained practice they will need in case of an outbreak of a serious disease or other disaster. View photo
