Emporian Jake Newell holds the championship trophy after winning the United States Disc Golf Amateur National Championship in Milford, Mich., this weekend. Newell shot a 13-under 173 to beat a field of 92 competitors in the three day event, defeating Michigan's Mike Frame and Jamie Mosier by one throw.
