The Emporia High boys cross country team will begin the season ranked second in Class 5A behind defending champion St. Thomas Aquinas. With plenty of depth this year, the Spartans expect to be in the thick of the State-title chase come late October. Returning team members this year are, front row: Lance Sadler.
