Bruce Hoover Jr. of Emporia died Saturday, July 17, 2010, at The University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan. He was 79.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Rob Clausen will officiate. Internment will follow in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m Tuesday at the church.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to First Baptist Church in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 175, Emporia KS 66801.
